Our story began on a sunny day in July 2020 when we crossed paths on a boat in Miami. However, it wasn't until December of that year that our paths converged once more. A friend brought Lakeyn over to a party at Daniel's house, and that's when sparks truly flew.
Fast forward to July 17, 2023, a day etched in our hearts forever. It followed an unforgettable experience—attending the final three Dead & Company shows in San Francisco. Daniel chose this perfect moment to propose, and Lakeyn was in for a surprise. She thought the proposal would happen a few weeks later and was completely caught off guard. In fact, the excitement was so overwhelming that Lakeyn doesn't remember the proposal itself; she blacked out from the sheer joy of the moment. As a result, Daniel has lovingly repeated the proposal many times since then.
Beyond our love story, we share a passion for adventure. We've explored every corner of Europe, but our favorite adventure is an annual pilgrimage to Burning Man. It's a place where our spirits truly soar, and we revel in the freedom and creativity of the desert.
At home, we find joy in the simple pleasures of life. We love taking our dogs, Woody and Mr. Charlie, on leisurely walks to the park, savoring every moment of their playful antics. While we enjoy dining out, there's a special magic in cooking together at home. It's a time when we create not only delicious meals but also cherished memories.
Our love is built on shared experiences, laughter, and the promise of many more adventures together.
